Both saliva and blood spot tests are equally accurate -- your choice depends on whether you prefer to spit into a tube or collect a few drops of blood on a card. The sample is mailed to the lab. Results are usually complete within 3 to 5 business days of when the sample arrives at the lab and are mailed to you.
