Testing is also recommended when supplementing with a compounded preparation of bioidentical estrogens containing estradiol (e.g. "Biest" preprations contain estradiol and estriol OR "Triest" preparations containing estradiol, estriol and estrone).

Saliva Test Dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) is a hormone secreted by the adrenal glands that can be an indicator of stress levels and insulin resistance.
